Questions contractors actually ask

Why not just use a text or WhatsApp?

A text thread is still a record. It’s just messy. TicketPad puts the work, photos, price, and authorization in one signed ticket you can find later. Same speed on the job. Cleaner proof if they “don’t remember.”

Why not send a PDF?

You can download a PDF from TicketPad. The difference is you don’t have to edit, attach, or scan anything on site. Write it, send a link, they sign on their phone.

Does my customer need an account?

No. They open the link, review the extra, accept the authorization and type their name. That’s it.

How do I send the link?

After you write the ticket you get a share sheet: text/SMS, email, WhatsApp, or copy the link. Use whatever you already use with that customer.

What exactly does the customer see?

The full ticket: who you are, the work description, job photos, the amount, and the authorization. They review that before they type their name. See the example on this page, or the full demo.

Is the signature legally useful?

TicketPad captures an electronic signature: the typed name, consent text, time, and a signing record stored with the ticket. We don’t promise a specific court outcome. We do give you a cleaner, retrievable record than a text thread. Read the consent language on the signing screen.

Can I download or export the signed ticket?

Yes. Download a PDF of the signed ticket anytime from your account. That’s the copy you keep, print, or attach to an invoice.

What does the free plan include?

Free includes 3 signed tickets each calendar month, with your name, phone and email on the ticket, photos, a share link, PDF download, and English or Español. No card required.

What exactly does Pro include? Is it unlimited?

Pro is $15 USD/month for unlimited signed tickets, plus your logo and website on every ticket. Same share, sign and PDF flow. One $485 extra covers Pro for years.

Does the allowance reset monthly? Is that a calendar month?

Yes. The free allowance of 3 signed tickets resets each calendar month. TicketPad counts the month in UTC.

Is the price in USD? When will I be charged?

Yes. Pro is $15 USD/month. No card for Free. You see a clear checkout before any charge. Cancel anytime.

Can I cancel at any time? What happens to signed tickets?

Yes. Cancel anytime. You keep the free plan through the rest of the paid period, and signed tickets stay in the account so you can download PDFs. To delete everything, email [email protected].

Can someone forward the ticket link?

Anyone with the private ticket link may be able to open it, so send it only to the customer who should review and sign. Ticket links are not listed publicly or meant to appear in search results. TicketPad does not currently expire or revoke a link after it is sent.

Can a signed ticket be changed?

No. Once a ticket is signed, the contractor cannot edit it. The signed record keeps the authorization language the customer saw at signing time.

Where are photos and signatures stored?

Tickets, photos and signatures live in your TicketPad account. Download a PDF anytime. Details are on the Security and your TicketPad records page.

Can I use TicketPad with my current field-service software?

Yes. TicketPad works alongside the software and paperwork you already have. It does not replace your contracts or require a system migration.

Can I use it in English and Spanish?

Yes. Switch English or Español in the header. App chrome is Mexican Spanish; the customer signing page uses formal usted.
