Security and your TicketPad records
TicketPad stores job details, photos, approvals, and signatures so you can keep a record of what the customer approved. This page explains how access, sharing, retention, and deletion work.
Version 1.0 · 2026-08-30
What TicketPad stores
Account identity (name and email) from sign-in. Ticket content you create: customer and job details, the written scope, photos, the pricing basis, amounts, and the authorization text shown at signing. The customer’s typed name, consent, time, and signing record. Usage counts for the free monthly allowance.
How customers access a ticket
You send a private share link. The customer opens it on their phone. They do not need a TicketPad account.
What someone with a share link can see
The ticket you sent: contractor details on the ticket, the extra work, photos, pricing basis, amount if shown, and the authorization. After it is signed, the same link still shows the signed record.
Whether share links expire
TicketPad does not currently expire a share link after it is sent.
Whether contractors can revoke a link
TicketPad does not currently let you revoke a share link after it is sent. Send the link only to the customer who should review and sign.
Forwarded links
Anyone with the private ticket link may be able to open it. Ticket links are not listed publicly or meant to appear in search results.
What changes after a ticket is signed
The ticket is marked signed. The typed name, time, and authorization language the customer saw are stored with it. You can download a PDF.
Whether signed records can be edited
No. Once a ticket is signed, the contractor cannot edit it. The signed record keeps the authorization language shown at signing time.
Transport security
TicketPad is served over HTTPS in production.
Storage security
Tickets, photos, and signatures live in the TicketPad account database. We have not published a separate encryption-at-rest claim.
Internal access
We have not published a separate internal-access policy. Support requests go to [email protected].
Backups and recovery
We have not published a separate backup or recovery SLA.
Data retention
Signed tickets stay in the account while the account is open so you can download PDFs.
Account deletion
Email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We remove the account and associated tickets.
Record exports
Download a PDF of a ticket anytime from the account or the signed share page.
Payment processing
Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by TicketPad. Pro checkout is $15 USD/month.
